Collection Report | Dunhill by Kim Jones F/W 2009

Looking as if from another time, Dunhill by Kim Jones introduces a F/W collection that celebrates prime looks that have been celebrated in our country since their introduction. While the collection is in sync with trends that are current, the collection shy's away from looking trendy with an authenticity that still manages to look up-to-date. Silhouettes are kept slim and closer to the body, yet remain masculine with flat front trousers that are cut(and cuffed) above the ankle, knitwear that follows in suit with a prep style, fun and busy shirting, and classic outerwear. As for color palette, simply take a look at the footwear because it seems like the colors were based around those as a principle...and that's something that I like. While it may be sold out(because I need the entire collection), the collection is available now at Opening Ceremony.

love the polo shirt with the different color body and sleeve. It makes for an exciting mix in the outfit.
everything looks great in this collection except for the last 2 jackets, which remind me of something from WWII.
