Exclusive Report | Harvard University Menswear

Here is something you can file under "never crossed my mind", the Ivy League dabbing in the fashion industry. You've read that right, Harvard Yard has collaborated with Harvard University and private tailoring manufacturer Wearwolf Group to create a collection that is the essence of its namesake - Harvard University. Based on classic cliches of Ivy League, the collection is in itself American. Expect khakis, loafers, collegiate ties, button-downs, vest, and everything in between. While this sounds like a match made in hell, the preview doesn't look half bad, and while its nothing fresh the suiting components feature interesting nostalgic patterns and its great to see clothing actually worn correctly and fit properly. While no price points have been announced as of yet, I would expect Ivy League prices to match the Ivy League name so while I don't whole heartily recommend the collection, I do recommend becoming inspired by what they offer. And if nothing, this collection begs the question - when will the likes of Georgetown University, George Washington University, American University, and Catholic University of America start their own clothing ranges? Expect designer priest-wear in stores near you soon! More from the preview after the jump.
