Milan Fashion Week | Emporio Armani S/S 2010

Giorgio Armani went with a new take for his Emporio Armani S/S 2010 collection, one of youthfulness, freshness, and a bit uneasiness...literally. In an ode to his latest range of work, Armani had recordholder Vittorio Brumotti open the show with his sense of adventure and fun, only being upstaged by the collection that seemed to appeal to a younger generation of fashionisto's all together. With an impressive assembly of textures, cuts, and the occasional bold color, Armani went far past the usual suit that every man already possesses. Subtle sheer pieces, floral prints, and other patterns help him move in the proper direction while still pleasing his current audience with three-piece suits that are a bit of a repeat. Finding the proper place to start, the collection is a great balance between the old and the new.
