Going towards a sportswear aesthetic for their spring 2010 collection, Louis Vuitton designer Paul Helvers is said to have used the New York bike messenger as his muse for this season. With an easy going silhouette, the collection brings a new take to the suit - dressing it down in a casual yet chic manner. Clean and simple, the collection has a neutral colour palette with sudden burst of oranges and yellows every now and then. Eye-catching foorwear is present with loud colors and attention paid to detail. Other accessories continues to make the collections point of casualty with sunglasses, jewelry, and bags. No doubt, this collection is a result of the withering economy with luxury items becoming casual for everyday use.
