Nicole Farhi delivers up a spotless range of professional workwear for her A/W 09 collecion. Inline with collections of previous seasons, Farhi gives us suits, trousers, and blazers with a traditional fitting, giving way to a masculine silhouette that collaborates perfectly with the colour palette of darks and greys. Knitwear that can be found in most collections for 09 are nothing spectacular, but fit in comfortably with the rest of the collection, and accessories that we have come to expect from Farhi are alive, present, and don't disappoint - adding a bit of fun and excitement to an otherwise "lacking in color" collection. And where would we be without the outerwear that has become a staple of enjoyment from the label. She plays well with textures, fabrics, color, and length creating what most would call the main focus of the collection - however we see them as enhancing and complimenting the rest of the collection.
