Debonair. This one word embodies what Tiger of Sweden tried to convey with their A/W 09 collection, adequately so. With a great mixture of colors, fabrics, and pieces, suits are put together in an interesting manner, giving off the feeling that a guy is no less a man yet understands and is interested in fashion. And too often suits become so predictable, however in this case they are anything but, yet still appropriate. Slim fit, the silhouettes contour to the masculine physique without becoming overbearing - both showing off the clothes and the wearer. The designers also managed to create some amazing outerwear that accompanies and compliments the rest of the pieces, instead of hiding them. Not to distract from the rest of the accessories, that are the icing on the cake, many of the models showcase naval hats that are given a practical interpretation with dark colors and interesting fabric. And if not to have put their point across with the collection, the choice to use models in their heyday - or in some cases use makeup to age them - cements their opinion.
