Collection Report | Yiorgos Eleftheriades A/W 09-10

These days it seems that designers pull inspiration from just about everywhere, and much to our delight Yiorgos Eleftheriades clearly used the cowboys of the midwest as the muse for his A/W 09-10 collection. With obvious pieces exuding the swagger of ranchers from Texas, the models swooned down the runway with ruggid yet gentle leather gloves and hats that were made famous by the cowboys themselves. The rest of the collection features play with patterns and fabrics, basic cut silhouettes, and practical wear that will go far in your closet. Each piece different, yet somehow unified, the pieces range from chest cut blazers, double breasted coats, interesting knit wear, and tops that any regular cowboy would never be caught in.
