Around the District | Sneaker Pimps

I may not be a sneaker fanatic, but I know many of you out there in the District are and even I can appreciate the art that goes into the design of sneakers. Their unique, outrageous, eye-catching, and comfortable. To satisfy the sneaker craving within, Sneaker Pimps is where you need to be this weekend. Proudly the world's largest sneaker show, the show will feature over 1500 pairs of rare, limited edition, vintage, celebrity signed, artists collaborated sneakers and a collection of sneaker inspired artwork, fashion and photography. And if the sneakers aren't enough to sell you, there will also be live street art installations, live skateboarding demonstrations, street basketball competitions and live hip-hop and rock performances by some of the world's foremost recording artists. This year the likes of Clipse, J. Cole and Wale will perform along with many other local groups and artist. Inspiration abound, the show definitely will be a must see. I expect to see you there. More information after the jump.
