Collection Report | Ontfront F/W 09-10

Rightly named EMPERIALISTIC, Ontfront's F/W 09-10 collection was heavily influenced by the roots of its Russian designer Liza Koifman. Russia's last emperor, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, is noted for wearing the finest uniforms in history. Thats where the collection gets is rich suit fabrics of grey, antharacite, black and off-white from, contrasted with royal red, deep purple and fur - clothing that only a true Russian tsar could pull of, until now. Never before has royal satin looked so hip, young and fresh. Consisting of long coats, blazers, trousers, dress shirts, v-necks, baseball jackets, and hooded blazers, the collection merges luxury with casual, coming up with a new breed of wear, where you can have the best of both worlds. All pieces feature quirky details like golden plated 3.5 mini-jack plugs on drawstings, embroidered family weapons, and shiny satin. And given the Russian influence, im sure they will keep you warm and toasty...perfect for fall with the Romsnovs.
