The CFDA Awards are the equivalent of the Academy Awards in the fashion industry. As the awards are fast approaching, it has just been announced that this year, you too can participate. The CFDA has created a Popular Vote Award, allowing for those of you who are interested to cast your ballad and be heard. Voting has already began, so now until June 9, you can cast your vote for any of the nominees for menswear or womenswear designer of the year, emerging menswear or womenswear designer of the year, or one of the other designers who showcased their collections during New York Fashion Week. Head over to WWD to participate and speak out, as we learned with the recent presidential election - we all have a voice that can be heard.
