Spanish designer David Delfin made a bold statement with his S/S 2010 collection, one of androgynous that allowed way for simple, strong, and light colors and classic cuts. Touching both basis, tacky and classy, the collection varies in a way that is sort of limiting. Pieces vary from tradition to fashion-forward with suiting is accompanied with fit trousers and sheer blouses. Shorts remain "actual shorts", a far cry from a couple years ago, which is indeed a sigh of relief. With gender roles a bit blurry due to eye shadow, color palette, and a number of other factors, it is quite clear that Delfin has an opinion and wants it heard. I can respect that.
