Mixing the urban with the chic is a fleet not easily taken. Its easy to get lost in translation and most of the time the result is somewhere close to looking awkward and like something your not. Fortunately, Uniform Experiment faces none of these issues and finds the perfect resting place with their A/W 09-10 collection. Styling is impeccable in their lookbook and notes should rightly be taken. They find the perfect balance between urban and professional wear and incorporates the perfect elements in the right places. While I cannot speak for the rest of DC, I believe that if your going to embrace urban wear then it should look something along the lines of this. Outerwear is left urban while the innards of the collection remain profession, sporadically patterned.
