Those on the outside may see DC as a place all about government, monuments, and cocktail affairs however, those of us on the inside - as in DC residence - know the District as a hip and urban environment where music flourishes, art is on the forefront, and culture is imminent. In lamest terms, we work hard and party harder. Candy & Caviar seems to have gotten a hold of this motto and used it as a bare muse for their S/S 09 collection. Full of vests of an array of patterns and designs, they are given the allusion of layering and feature design components seen before...just not on vest. Vest with hoods and inner alluding outer buttons populate the collection while there are also lots of shorts, trousers, and blazers - giving usual professional wear a rock and roll mantra. Nicely done.
