The RCA MA Graduate Show happens to be one of the most influential places to discover up and coming fashion designers and thanks to Dazed Digital we get a preview of the RCA's Class of 2009. Featuring 36 MA students in menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories, the graduates all hope to receive such praise and influence as former alumni Ossie Clark, Philip Treacy, and Christopher Bailey. Taking place at the College in Henry Moore Gallery on June 10, thanks to DD we get an early sneak preview of what this years class has to offer.
"This collection is my fantastical vision and of a gang called ‘The Sixth Sun’. The Sixth Sun gang is a Mexican biker gang that has reverted to ancient Mayan/Aztec beliefs and rituals after realizing that their ancestors had predicted the future."

Ideas come from relationships, the first feeling of love and the colours associated with it, blue for man, yellow for woman, mix the two you get purple, but then what happens after love when a relationship breaks down? "I was inspired by the horrific facial injuries of World War I, where recognisable features were distorted and made abstract. I have taken other beautiful and natural forms like horses and birds and combined their organic shapes with geometric futuristic patterning.
