Fashion Comes to the District

While I hate to equate fashion with celebrity, there a quite a bit of fashion events taking place in the District within the next few days that will sure to attract lots of star power and anyone who missed the Prom this weekend.

Bethesda will be home to fashion in the District for the next few days with Christian Siriano, Lauren Goldstein Crowe, Glamour.com’s Tracey Lomrantz and the Valentino movie all flocking to town for The Front Row in Bethesda. Bethesda just got a major economic boost and lots of cool points for this.

Also, on Thursday, Macy's Metro Center will be transformed from its usual department store setting to a gallery showcasing the impressive artwork from students at the Corcoran College of Art and Design - along with lots of fun and hippie fashions inspired by The Summer of Love. FYI. Word on the street is that folks by the name of Amy Adams, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, and Hank Azaria will all be at the Air and Space Museum for the premiere of Night at the Museum: Battle of The Smithsonian. Red carpet arrivals start at 6:30 so bring your cameras and prepare to be star struck.
