Red collar? Im pretty sure that its called 'white collar', but nevertheless Red Collar Project presents an awesomely different array of 'white collar' pieces, so to speak, for their S/S 2010 collection. So often does the 'white collar' prep style become generic, and a bit sickening, but Red Collar uses a such design aesthetic that allows for the typical seersucker suits, polo shirts, and cardigans to look a bit more stylish as opposed to characteristic. With a color palette that keeps things light, yet varied, the collection is pretty much what you can expect from the prep style, but more. By mixing in pieces that are a bit more mainstream, Red Collar balances out the characteristic aspect and gives way for plaids, anonymous knitwear, and even a few 'fashion forward' pieces. I guess this is what you get when you mix 'white collar' with the 'artsy' crowd...Red Collar.
