New York Fashion Week | Gilded Age Spring 2010

If you thought the prep-era in fashion was over, Gilded Age is set to prove you wrong. Dressed-up to dress-down, the collection features a casual, springtime vibe that works to popularize on the classic trends, as opposed to the current. Not innovative in anyway, the collection settles with casual in every component, front suiting to plaids with a color palette that remains easy and light. Showcased in Soho Grand’s outdoor lounge, its quite clear that Gilded Age is going for a relaxed feel, and they succeed with a collection that is perfect for any businessman in DC during the weekend. Though not impressive, the collection is content and seeks to go no further, so to say it best...mission complete.
