London Fashion Week | Carolyn Massey Spring 2010

Carolyn Massey proved to be a force to be reckoned with during London Fashion Week with her camping trip inspired collection. Finding the perfect in-between of man and child, the collection is one that offers a variety of feel with a common mood in mind. Color relying mostly on navy and olive green, the collection revolves around a straight-forward silhouette that is quite polite towards the body and extenuates the details. Going from a suave trench coat to a nylon windbreakers, Massey makes these pieces her own by adding cinching and vibrant colors. Light knits are present, trousers are abound, and all the rest is expected, but I can't help but make a deep comparison to Burberry. Do we have a successor?
